In response to a need for repairs to their aging harbor, Solstice worked with the City of Whittier to secure permits to replace three of the harbor’s float systems and a majority of harbor piles. Solstice secured authorizations from NMFS in compliance with the MMPA and ESA, and from USACE, for repairs to the harbor which provides year-round moorage for local residents and businesses.
